PRESENTATION OF THE ANNUAL ALBERT KAPOVIÆ AWARD
The Managing Board of Croatian Producers Association has decided to establish permanent annual Albert Kapović Award to commemorate our early departed colleague and friend, the founder of Croatian Audio Visual Center. The Award is given to physical and legal persons who have distinguished themselves in their work in the art of film in the past year, or whose activities have substantially contributed to the quality and promotion of Croatian film. This way, Croatian Producers Association wishes to give credit to those whose contribution to the benefit of Croatian film often passes unnoticed by public and even by professionals. Proposals for the award with written explanations have been submitted by associations, institutions and individuals. The Managing Board of Croatian Producers Association has appointed the Commission which, having considered all the submitted proposals, has short-listed seven of them. From the short-listed candidates, the Commission has unanimously decided that this year’s, first Albert Kapović Award goes to Martina Petrović, head of MEDIA desk Croatia.
